Activities
Of course, most of our members start from scratch. The single lessons and beginner courses are designed precisely for those who have never touched a board. Certified instructors will guide you step by step in total safety.
No, there's no need. The cost of every lesson or course always includes all the necessary technical gear (board, sail, protective pads, and wetsuit). If instead you want to go in the water on your own, you can use our rental service.
It's a dry-land workout (in the gym or outdoors) focused on strength, mobility, and balance. It's extremely useful for surfers, but it's also a great functional workout for anyone who wants to improve their fitness. You don't need to know how to surf to take part.
Absolutely yes. The Adriatic delivers frequent swells, especially thanks to the North and Maestrale winds. Sure, we don't have the constant waves of the Ocean, but our spots offer perfect days both for learning and for intermediate surfers.
General Info and Logistics
We welcome children from 6 years old for skate and surf courses, as long as they can swim. There's no maximum age, however: you just need the desire to get out there and give it a go!
No, our community doesn't hibernate. Surf Training, skate, and yoga continue regularly. Out at sea, winter is actually the best season for wave surfing and windsurfing (thanks to the winter wetsuits provided by the club). On top of that, we organize trips across the region all year round.
Our main base is in Trani (BT), in the stunning natural setting of Contrada Boccadoro, right in front of the sea. Google Maps link.
Of course! Flamingo is first and foremost a community and shared space. You can access the venue during opening hours to relax, watch the sea, or meet the community. The only fixed requirement is being a registered member.
